About Me

I'm Peyton Breese, a hands-on problem solver with a background in mechanics and a future in software. I started my career fixing complex systems you can touch, like bicycles, where every detail matters and performance is visible in motion. That same mindset now guides how I build software: efficient, reliable, and designed to work smoothly in the real world.

I'm currently expanding my skills across the full stack, focusing on JavaScript, React, Node, and Postgres. My current project, Handlebar POS, is a rental management platform I designed from the ground up to make small-shop operations simpler and smarter.

What excites me most about software is its ability to scale craftsmanship — to take the precision and pride of fixing one bike and apply it to solving problems for thousands of users. I'm not looking for shortcuts; I'm building a foundation for long-term impact.

I thrive in teams that value autonomy, shared learning, and clear communication. I bring humility, curiosity, and a steady hand, whether I'm debugging a production issue or refining an idea until it feels right.

In short: I fix what's broken, improve what works, and build with care. My goal is to grow into a full-stack role where I can help craft tools that make life easier and smarter for real people.
